I began my career as a Desktop Architect at Imation, providing advanced technical support and managing critical network components. At Smiths Medical, I transitioned into a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer role—leading test teams, enforcing quality standards, and ensuring the integrity of software releases in the healthcare space.

As the owner of PC Superhero LLC (now operating as Qui Services), I provided consulting services focused on .NET application development and performance tuning. I partnered with engineering teams to troubleshoot architectural challenges, optimize performance, and deliver maintainable, scalable solutions tailored to each client's environment.

At Augeo Affinity Marketing, Inc. I was the Director of Enterprise Architecture, DevOps, and DBAs, where I architected and designed Encore, a modular content management system built to support incentive and engagement platforms at scale.

I later joined Microsoft as a Senior Software Engineer, contributing to platforms including Flipgrid, TakeLessons, and Bing Pros. There, I integrated services with the Bing search stack, built .NET MVC web applications, and mentored new engineers, all while advancing platform resiliency and observability.

I’m now back at Augeo as Director of Software Engineering, where I’m leading a high-performing team in the modernization of the Encore platform. We’re refactoring legacy systems, adopting cloud-native patterns, and reimagining the platform architecture to better support dynamic business models. My focus remains on enabling scalable growth, fostering engineering excellence, and building systems that are as elegant as they are resilient.

Outside of my professional life, I have a zest for adventure and exploration. I love to travel and try new restaurants, I enjoy playing games, working in game development, programming for fun, small electronics, woodworking, and home remodeling. These activities not only keep me engaged but also fuel my creativity and problem-solving skills.
